Grin Cupola
Grin Cupola is a contemporary art gallery and project space located on a farm a mile north of Grinnell, Iowa, USA.
Grin Cupola exhibits one web/virtual exhibition and/or one on-site physical(IRL) exhibition per year.
Web/virtual exhibitions consist of three - five artists and are available on view on our website.
On-site physical(IRL) exhibitions are small group exhibitions, solo exhibitions, and pop-up performances/happenings/gatherings. Available on view by appointment, during event hours and on our website.
Grin Cupola’s on-site physical(IRL) exhibitions take place in a spacious three-story corn crib that was constructed in 1938. The newly renovated corn crib includes 1600 square feet of assorted space. The first floor holds the lounge, reception area, and Grin Cupola offices. The second floor houses the main exhibition space and an auxiliary installation space - screening room. The grand third floor is the cupola outlook with 180 degrees of south-facing windows revealing a view of the surrounding farmlands and Grinnell.
By appointment only.
