When a new herbicide is introduced into a small Iowa community, a group of neighboring farmers must grapple with their differing perceptions of risk - and even with each other - as they figure out how to move forward together.

Hodgepodge: A Show on Formlessness
When Georges Bataille debuted formlessness 95 years ago in Surrealist magazine Documents, I doubt he expected a handful of Iowan college students to take on his case. His initial conception of the idea was veiled, though a shaking up of the previously unsullied sphere of “Fine Art” shines through. Hodgepodge intends to chase this tenuous light, following these wavering beams through each gnarled nook and cranny. Through this chase, we strive to answer the slippery question, what forms does formlessness take?
